“Jane”… Quiet but opinionated … good friend to all … homemaker at heart … will be a fine nurse some day..
Died: 31-Dec-2015 Clayton, GA
[Note: I was unable to find mention of Mary Jane’s passing either in the local Clayton, GA, or Westport newspaper. However, here is a brief obit at the Hunter Funeral Home website.]
From Mary Jane’s 50th reunion greeting to classmates…
Fran (Francis) and I have been living in the mountains of north Georgia since we retired in 2001. It is a completely different pace from the Atlanta area.
Our five children are all married and have given us 13 grandchildren. The holidays are always noisy, fun and exhausting.
We’re involved with volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, Sharing and Caring and many other hobbies.
We love retirement in Rabun County and do not know how we did it when we were working.
[Note: Allowing that I may have gotten this wrong, Deanna passed along this tidbit: Mary Jane’s husband, Fran, is the brother of Thomas Hanley who married another classmate of ours: Linda Speidel.]
